The Irish Naval Service is continually working on enhancing the skills of its members and weapons training is naturally a part of this.
Over the weekend sailors were practicing on the firing range as they took part in a Range Managers Course in Kilcoran in Tipperary.
All sailors must maintain personal weapon qualifications for the conduct of routine security duties, maritime interdiction operations and integrating with Army units on overseas service.
They were fortunate to get some great weather over the weekend for the duration of the course.
