An Post has launched two beautiful new stamps to commemorate the brave heroes of the Irish Coast Guard who have lost their lives in the course of duty.

The stamps were issued to acknowledge the special role of the Irish Coast Guard and to honour Catriona Lucas and the crew of the Rescue 116 helicopter, who tragically lost their lives in 2017. The design of the stamps is taken from a painting by Catriona Lucas.
