SeaFest 2018 | Bord Iascaigh Mhara supporting sustainable seafood all the way

SeaFest, Ireland’s biggest and most spectacular maritime festival, takes place in Galway from 29th June to 1st July with a weekend of fun and family friendly events not to be missed. Seafest is all about celebrating our connection with the sea and a big part of that is celebrating Ireland’s amazing seafood.

Back to help deepen our appreciation is Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland’s seafood agency, and if last year’s show was anything to go by this will again be something special.

We were totally blown away by the BIM big top tent last year with dynamic displays about marine pollution, sustainable fishing methods and all the different types of marine life in Irish waters.

When Coast Monkey first visited SeaFest in Galway in 2016, we knew straight away we wanted to be a part of this awesome maritime festival. Of course attend every year but now we’re also proud to say we’re helping to promote it and this article is a part of that effort.
