Search resumes for missing fisherman off Wicklow coast

The search operation will resume today for the fisherman who fell overboard yesterday morning off the coast of Arklow.


It’s understood that the man to be in his late 40s or early 50s and was part of a crew of three on a local fishing vessel. The man fell overboard yesterday morning around 9.30am.

The search and rescue operation was stood down yesterday evening and will resume this morning with the Arklow, Wicklow and Rosslare RNLI lifeboats as well as help from the L.E. Orla and several local fishing vessels.
