At the age of 65, Mary Hickey is doing something pretty amazing. She’s running & walking around the entire coast of Ireland, all in aid of RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea
Actually, at any age that’s impressive. At 65, it’s inspirational.
She left Arklow New Years morning, heading north on the roads nearest the coast with a plan to do a lap of the entire map. She been on the road now more than 30 days. It’s a massive journey which will take many months and she has just now made it as far as Rosses Point in Sligo.
Mary has set a fundraising target of €20,000 for the RNLI and she’s halfway to her goal, she hopes this final push will get her over the line, and that’s where you can help.
