The former Irish Naval vessel LE Aisling could find a new lease of life as a luxury ‘superyacht’. The long-serving naval vessel was sold at auction to a Dutch investor earlier this year for €110,000.
Since being sold the ship has been renamed Avenhorn and is currently up for sale with the Dutch ship brokers Dick van der Kamp.
An Australian design company Sabdes Designs has drawn up a concept proposal to convert the naval ship into a superyacht in a modern classic design, as reported in the Irish times.

According to Sabdes Design website “Avenhorn is in very good condition and offers a rare opportunity to create a yacht based on a strong naval platform.”
