Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival

The very much anticipated Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival returns for its 30th year on the 14th to 17th of July. The charming Wexford fishing village will be celebrating the summer with a festival full of the best local seafood, fishing, entertainment and lots of fun activities for all the family. The festival is run by volunteers and funds raised go straight back into the local Community Development Association to go towards developments happening within the community.

The line-up is still be finalised but you can bet this popular event will not disappoint. Seafood is undoubtedly the star of the show so there will be plenty of opportunities to try out seafood platters of the best local fish. There will also be cooking demonstrations, art and photo exhibitions, live music, market stalls at the marina, kayaking and boats races. The kids will be happy with plenty of entertainment to keep them busy and the grand parade marking the official opening is definitely one not to be missed.

Here’s a few pictures from last years festival to get an idea of what to expect.
