INFOMAR will be hosting the first in a new series of online webinars starting on the 25th March.

The webinar series will provide programme updates while taking a detailed look at how their mapping products and activities are delivering value and positive impact across multiple sectors and policy areas in Ireland and abroad.

The first of the INFOMAR Webinar series will focus on Offshore Renewable Energy and examine their role and support for this developing sector in the context of the Climate Action Plan of 2019 and the ambitious targets set out in the 2020 Programme for Government.

INFOMAR is Ireland’s national seabed mapping programme and is funded by the Department of the Environment Climate and Communications and jointly managed by Geological Survey Ireland and the Marine Institute.

The first talk in the series will take place from 10am-12pm on 25th March and you can register here.
