Irish naval service practice helicopter insertions in Cork harbour

The Irish naval service engaged in helicopter insertion training this week in Cork harbour.

They were joined by Air Corps and Army members for the training which took place near Naval HQ in Haulbowline, Cork. Deploying troops and divers from air to water is a useful in counter-mine, search and rescue and other special operations.Irish naval service carry out helicopter insertion training
