Crosshaven Trad Sail Festival | This weekend 14th – 16th June

Set sail for Crosshaven Co Cork this weekend June 14th -19th for a weekend of traditional sailing, family fun and piratey shenanigans!

There will be a whole range of vintage boats of all types, shapes and sizes taking part in the races throughout the weekend. The event will open Friday night with a opening party in the Oar Bar and festivies will take place across the village with live music in the local pubs.

The first day of sailing will begin on Saturday and the harbour will be full of colour and life with a wide range of different traditional vessels taking part. That night there will be a pirate pub crawl! Get into the spirit of the evening and go all out and don your best pirate gear!

There will be lots for the family to do on Sunday, with fancy dress, treasure hunts, crab fishing, face painting and lots more! The Crosshaven RNLI will also be having an open day where you can meet the real life heroes who keep our coastlines safe. There will also be plenty of food and music and more!

The spectacular parade of sails will take place Sunday afternoon so make sure your camera is at the ready.

This is sure to be a fun weekend for anyone who loves traditional sailing.
