The Shannon-based Rescue helicopter 115 was involved with two separate medevac operations over the weekend.
The first operation took place Saturday morning when they were tasked to airlift an injured fisherman from a trawler around 35 kilometres west of the Cliffs of Moher.
The fisherman had sustained an injury to his leg after getting caught on a hook. He was airlifted and taken to University Hospital for treatment.
A second operation took place Sunday afternoon. Rescue 115 engaged a fishing vessel about 20 kilometres south of Mizen Head in Cork where a crew member had sustained injuries to the fingers on his hand.
He was treated by helicopter paramedics on the flight to Cork Airport from where he was then transported by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.
