Travel chaos as Irish Ferries cancel six sailings due to storm Barbara

Due to adverse weather conditions a number of Irish Ferries sailings have been cancelled between Dublin and Holyhead this Friday.

Six sailings have been cancelled due to the incoming storm Barbara which is set to batter the coast tomorrow. Met Eireann have issued TWO weather warnings for gale force winds. 

 

The 8.45am, 10.45am and 2.30pm routes between Dublin and Holyhead have been cancelled and passengers are advised to travel at the earlier 8.05am or later 8.55pm ferries instead.

The services from Holyhead to Dublin at 11.50am, 4.45pm and 5.15pm have also been cancelled. Passengers are advised to take the 2.10pm Friday afternoon or 2.40am Saturday morning.




Irish Ferries have said there’s no need to contact their office and for passengers  to turn up 30 minutes prior to the departure of the alternative ferry.
