New documentary ‘Atlantic’ tells story of struggling coastal communities

A new documentary that looks at the impacts large-scale industrial activity has on local communities in the North Atlantic opens nationwide on 29th April.

Directed by Risteard O’Domhnaill, ‘Atlantic’ looks at the impacts that transnational shipping fleets and seismic blastings has on coastal communities in Ireland, Norway and Newfoundland. Narrated by acting legend Brendan Gleeson, Atlantic won Best Irish Documentary prize at the recent Audi Dublin International Film Festival.
