Looking for something fun to do this week? Well then the Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival is for you!
Taking place from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th, there’ll be fun for all the family but of course the star of the show as always will be the Seafood.
Activities will include: Children’s Art & Drama Workshop, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, Beach Games, Kayaking, 5Km Road Race, Nature walk, Sunset yoga, “Kilmore Rocks” lecture, Harbour stalls and Food Hall, as well as plenty of music and craic with our Ceili Mor, the Molgoggers sea shanty singers, the Submersibles and Point Blank all performing at the marina as well as a host of entertainment in the local pubs.
Back by popular demand, the restaurant in “The Loft” at the Stella Maris Centre serving, the now infamous, delicious Seafood Platters as well as Crab and Prawn cocktails.
There will be cooking demonstrations and food tastings, courtesy of our local chefs. Featuring this year will be Chefs Adrian Martin, Derry Clarke, Paul Hynes, Eugene Callaghan, Gopal Kawander and Nicky Cullen as well as wine appreciation with Bill Kelly.
The ever popular Fish Friday will provide a chance to see, taste and buy an amazing array of fish and seafood caught locally and landed here every day by Kilmore Quay fishermen.
See you there!
