Explore Maritime Heritage in Rosses Point, Sligo | This Weekend

The delightful coastal village of Rosses Point Co. Sligo is the perfect setting for a weekend of maritime heritage with its gorgeous island views, blue flag beaches and towering peaks of Benbulben and Knocknarea. The area is steeped in maritime heritage and tradition and this weekend (21st – 23rd October) all this will be brought to life with a series of talks and lectures from maritime experts including acclaimed author Michael Smith, maritime archaeologist Auriel Robinson and historian Eugene Furlong. And you’re invited to come along!

Tickets for the Friday night talks by Michael Smith and Eugene Furlong at the Sligo Yacht Club are €10 and available through Eventbrite. All other tickets are €5 and will be available at venue doors. Numbers are limited so make sure you get there early!
