Search resumes this morning for man missing from Ballyreen Co. Clare

The search will resume this morning for a young man who went missing yesterday afternoon from Ballyreen Co. Clare. The alarm was raised when a young man believed to be in his early 20’s failed to return to his tour bus.

 Search for man missing from Ballyreen Co Clare

The bus stopped along the coast road at Ballyreen between Fanore and Lisdoonvarna yesterday around 12.30pm.

When the bus was due to depart again at around 2.30pm there was no sign of the man. The alarm was raised and a search was launched.



The Doolin Coast Guard carried out a search on land and sea and the Shannon rescue helicopter 115 carried out a search along the coastline.

The search was stood down around 5pm yesterday and will resume again this morning.
