Man dies after falling into Tipperary lake this morning

A man has died after falling into a lake in Tipperary this morning. The alarm was raised at 9:30am when a person was spotted in the water at Terryglass Harbour.

Killaloe Coast Guard Responding to the call out

Killaloe Coast Guard and crews from the National Ambulance service, Tipperary Fire and Rescue and Nenagh Garda station were tasked with responding.

The man was taken from the water in Terryglass Harbour where CPR was started and an AED was used.

The Irish Coast Guard Helicopter R115 from Shannon airport was tasked and the man was airlifted to Limerick Regional Hospital.
