Battle for the Bay 2017 is on this weekend!

Battle for the Bay returns this weekend (20th – 21st May) to the sandy shores of Dollymount Strand in Dublin. The two-day event is a unique celebration of Irish watersports with plenty of land action too and has grown year on year into a seriously enjoyable weekend by the coast.

The colourful event features Ireland’s biggest stand up paddle event and the Kiteboarding KBC Tour with plenty of action both on and off the water. With a cracking line up of live music, beach sports, market stalls, kid zones and biodiversity village, this is the place to be this weekend.

Kite surfing paradise

All the best riders from around the country and many from around the world will come together to compete at this kite surfing hot spot. You’ll be amazed at the spectacular tricks as the pros glide effortless through the air and on the waves.

The fun doesn’t stop on the beach and continues well into the night with epic late night parties in top venues around Clontarf and the city centre.

Grab your towel and picnic and head to the most chilled out festival this summer! Last year was a complete scorcher so fingers crossed the sun will make a return appearance too!
